Ingredients:
For the Tomato Sauce
• 800g Crushed Tomatoes
• 4tblsp Tomato Paste
• 100ml Olive oil
• 2 Small Onions, finely diced
• 4 Garlic cloves, chopped
• 2tsp Paprika
• 1tsp Cracked Pepper
• 1tsp Salt
Pizza
• 3 cups Flour
• 2tsp Yeast
• 1 ½ cups Water
• 1tsp salt
• 100g Salami, sliced
• Mozzarella Cheese
Pasta
• 2cups Penne Pasta
• 150g Salami, diced
• ½ tsp Salt
• 100ml Olive oil
• 1 Onion, finely diced
• 2 Garlic cloves, chopped
• 1tsp Paprika
• 2tbsp whole Olives
• Tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
• Tbsp Italian Parsley, chopped
For the tomato sauce
Saucepan onto heat, add olive oil
Gently sauté onions, garlic
Season with pepper, paprika
Add Tomato paste
Combine ingredients together
Add crushed tomatoes and mix well
Season to taste with salt
For the Pizza
In a bowl add the flour, yeast and water, mix together.
Allow the dough
Once dough has formed knead to shape
Prepare dough for rolling
Sprinkle with a little flour
Roll out to shape
Toss to length
Place into pizza dish ready for topping
Coat bottom with tomato sauce
Sprinkle with cheese and top with salami slices
Place evenly onto pizza
Into hot oven (200C) for 8 minutes
Cut to portions and garnish
For the Penne Cacciatore
Add pasta to boiling salted water
Stir to prevent sticking
After 10 minutes strain water
Dice salami
Saucepan onto heat, add olive oil
Gently sauté onions, garlic
Add salami, paprika, olives
Mix together
Add the fresh tomato sauce and fold in the penne pasta
Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and fresh herbs
