Wild Foods Platter

Ingredients:

* Salt
* Oil
* Butter

Pikopiko – wash the pikopiko in cold water and trim bottom of stalk. Bring a pot of salted water to the boil. Place in the Pikopiko and boil hard for 10 minutes till tender. Strain and serve hot or cold. Cook with pork or corned beef.

Huhu Grubs – Wash in cold water, pat dry with a teatowel, season with salt. Heat a pan with a little canola or peanut oil. Carefully add the Huhu Grubs and sauté quickly till golden and crispy. Serve immediately.
